The 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV is an exciting three-row SUV that seats up to 8 passengers and has a combined electric and gasoline range of 490 miles. Its standard all-wheel drive is rear-biased, giving the CX-90 the athletic handling to control its powerful acceleration. Trim Levels of the 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV
1. PHEV Preferred
The PHEV Preferred is powered by a 2.5-liter engine and 68 kW electric motor that produce a combined 323 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. Its 17.8-kWh battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in 1 hour and 30 minutes using a Level 2 charger, and the PHEV Preferred can travel 26 miles on a full charge without using any gasoline.
Many premium features come standard on the PHEV Preferred, including 19-inch alloy wheels, a power sunroof, and leather seat trim. This model has a second-row bench seat that slides and tilts, giving the PHEV Preferred an 8-passenger seating capacity. A 10.25-inch screen is the hub for the Mazda Connect infotainment system, which integrates seamlessly with your compatible smartphone using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Advanced safety and driver assistance technologies include Blind Spot Monitoring and Mazda Radar Cruise Control.
2. PHEV Premium
The PHEV Premium adds numerous upgrades, including 21-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic moonroof, and a Bose 12-speaker audio system. Accessing the cargo area is even more convenient on this model with its Hands-Free Power Rear Liftgate, which opens when you kick your foot under the rear bumper while the key is nearby. You’ll also find a wireless phone charger and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the PHEV Premium, so you can stay connected without cords.
The PHEV Preferred’s second-row bench is replaced with captain’s chairs on this model, resulting in a 7-passenger seating capacity. Additional advanced safety and driver assistance features are also included on the PHEV Premium, like front and rear parking sensors and Traffic Sign Recognition. An Active Driving Display projects important information like vehicle speed onto the windshield, so you can stay focused on the road.
3. PHEV Premium Plus
The top-of-the-line CX-90 PHEV is the PHEV Premium Plus, with comfort amenities like Nappa leather seat trim, ventilated front seats, and heated second-row seats. The infotainment touchscreen is upgraded to a larger 12.3-inch size, and it can also assist with parking by displaying your vehicle’s surroundings using the 360° Monitor. Additional advanced safety features include reverse Smart Brake Support, which can automatically apply the brakes when the vehicle is in reverse and its sensors predict a collision.
