Trim Levels of the 2022 Mazda CX-30

2.5 S

The base level of the CX-30 is the 2.5 S, which comes with Mazda’s lauded 2.5L SKYACTIV-G engine, which has 186hp and gets the CX-30 an excellent combined fuel economy rating of 26 MPG. The 2.5 S comes standard in AWD with off-road traction assist. On the infotainment side the 2.5 S comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and some great driver assistance tools like Mazda’s radar cruise control with stop and go.

Select

The Select trim adds some great features to the standard drivetrain of the 2.5 S, including an upgrade to 18-inch alloy wheels, aluminum roof rails, and outboard mirrors with turn signals built in. The Select adds plenty of comfort options, too, including keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone climate control. Extra safety features include standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Preferred

The Preferred trim ups the ante yet again, with everything the Select offers, plus heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a memory system for the driver’s seat and climate control system. In both the Select and Preferred trims, drivers can also opt for the optional feature of a built-in navigation system. The Preferred Carbon Edition is also available, which puts all the features of the preferred into a stylish gray exterior with red leather seats and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Premium

With yet another bump up in terms of luxury and performance, the Premium trim builds on the Preferred trim’s features, with the addition of leather seats, adaptive front lights, a power liftgate, and paddle shifters. Inside the cabin, the Premium adds road sign recognition and an active driving display, a 12-speaker soundsystem by Bose, and satellite radio capability. Additionally, the optional navigation system from the Select/Preferred trims is standard at this trim level.

2.5 Turbo

Finally, the 2.5 Turbo trim contains the first major drivetrain upgrade of any of the CX-30 trims, with a turbocharged 2.5L engine with 227 hp and320 lb-ft of torque. This performance-based package also comes with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated outboard mirrors, and a beautiful cosmetic upgrade from the Premium. Additional option packages at this trim level include the 2.5 Turbo Premium and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus, which both augment the regular Turbo trim with more features.
