Powertrain
Combining a 68-kW electric motor and a 2.5L e-Skyactiv PHEV inline-4, the CX-90 PHEV’s powerplant produces a hefty total of 323 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed PHEV e-Skyactiv automatic transmission ensures plenty of grunt at all revs and features a manual shifting mode with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters that will impress any enthusiast. The standard i-Activ all-wheel drive system is rear-biased for a sportier driving experience.
